The second half of 2018 is going to be happening alright! As per the latest updates, Nagarjuna‘s much awaited actioner – Officer is not releasing on May 25th any more. Ram Gopal Varma has taken to Twitter to reveal the reason on social media – ‘Since many technical elements of #Officer with regard to the best viewing experience are taking much longer than initially planned , we decided to postpone @iamnagarjuna ‘s Officer release from 25 th May to 1st June” So that’s that, Officer will hit theatres officially in the second half of 2018. Officer teaser 2: Nagarjuna’s fiery cop avatar will keep you on the edge

We are super excited as Nagarjuna takes on the role of a ruthless, skilled officer. From the looks of the trailer, the movie promises action, drama, violence and a lot of high-octane scenes. To see Nagarjuna in action is a visual treat for all us fans. Even after thirty years, he manages to set the screen ablaze with his presence. This movie is touted to be an out and out actioner that promises some serious maar -dhaad. With Ram Gopal Varma helming the project, we can expect some crazy scenes and twists.

The fact that Ram Gopal Varma and Nagarjuna were teaming up after more than 27 years excited fans the most. The last time they came together, they created Shiva that went on to become the cult classic. The movie is even praised till date. It talks of a war between a student turned gangster and a crime boss. The film marked Ram Gopal Varma’s debut in cinema. The movie went on to become a grand critical and commercial success.
