Parmanu song Jitni dafa: John Abraham’s troubled personal life and his relationship with Diana Penty makes this a melancholic hear

After a lot of chaos and legal suits, John Abraham‘s Parmanu – The story of Pokhran is finally releasing on May 25. The makers have reconciled and thus the film has managed to get a release date that it can stick to. Now, the songs are hitting the marquee and we have a new one today. Sung by Yasser Desai and Jeet Gannguli, the track has a soothing score but it’s of the melancholic variety. The visuals say a lot about the life John is living in the film. On one side, he has an unassuming wife who just wants him to shine and on the other, he is on this top secret mission that he can’t talk about. The lyrics suggest he gets pretty close to Diana Penty, who plays his fellow comrade in the film. His proximity creates a lot of issues with his wife. In one scene, she is even seen throwing something at him after an argument. But somewhere you will feel the whole thing about Diana and him is a facade to keep the secret hidden. As you are aware, the film is on India’s successful testing of nuclear weapon at Pokhran and how it was kept hidden from everyone. If you keep that in mind, you will understand the dilemma that John is going through in the song…

A source had informed Quint that John is interested in screening the film for PM Narendra Modi. The source said, “Since this film has a tremendous political relevance even today John and his producer Prernaa Arora are very keen to show Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran to the Prime Minister.” We will have to wait and watch if that happens.
