It’s quite safe to say that the results didn’t startle us a bit. Samantha Ruth Prabhu did look like a princess on her wedding day as Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Sagarika Ghatge. Every bride among these ladies had a peculiar or rather distinct taste when it came to the choice of their wedding attires. While Mrs Akkineni was decked up as a typical South Indian bride, Anushka played it very subtle with her colour palette. If Sonam picked a crimson red lehenga choli for her wedding ceremony, Anushka preferred pink that was way cooler on your eyes. Every bride had her own personal taste and that made us wonder whose look will an ordinary girl pick for her D-day. We conducted a poll to find out who whose bridal look impressed our fans the most? Will they like to go all traditional like Samantha or will they prefer Sagarika – who had diverse taste throughout her ceremonies rather? Would you opt for a bright colour like Sonam or will you play it cool like Anushka? Well, guess the answer is pretty clear. Samantha is a clear winner and her bridal look was the most stunning, think our lovely readers. When asked which bride was our readers’ soulmate, the Rangasthalam actress secured the maximum 40 per cent votes followed by Anushka Sharma with 38 per cent. Yes, the competition was too close between these two pretty actresses and Mrs Kohli was even leading at some point. But then Samantha’s look was picked by majority and she emerged as the ultimate winner. Sonam followed Anushka on number three with 20 per cent votes and lastly Sagarika with 2 per cent. It’s unbelievable to digest so many weddings suddenly in Bollywood. What started with Samantha continued with Sagarika then Anushka, Sonam and lastly Neha Dhupia of course. It’s great to see our Bollywood ladies break the stereotypical myth of married actresses not having a hold on their career after marriage. We are glad the unspoken, unwritten belief is finally changing with good times.
