Avengers: Infinity War CRUSHES Jurassic World to become the fourth highest worldwide grosser of all time

Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War continues to set new benchmarks at the global box office. The superhero flick has now achieved one more milestone at the ticket windows. With the staggering business of $ 1.675 billion, it has shattered the lifetime collections of Jurassic World ($1.671 billion) to become the fourth highest worldwide grosser of all time. Avengers: Infinity War is now behind Avatar, Titanic and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Interestingly, all three films have crossed the $ 2 billion mark globally and if the third installment of the Avengers franchise achieves this feat, it’ll be the fourth film to do so.

The film has already shattered Black Panther’s record to become the highest worldwide grosser of the year. Coming to the Indian market, the film has set new benchmarks for a Hollywood film at the box office. It has become the first English film cross the Rs 200 crore mark in India and also holds the record of the highest opener of 2018 in India beating Bollywood biggies like Baaghi 2 and Padmaavat. Avengers: Infinity War is produced by Kevin Feige and screenplay of the film is written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. Directed by Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, the film features the ensemble cast of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Josh Brolin and Chris Pratt.
